Rebecca
Rebecca is set in the atmospheric English countryside in summer, and is a mystery with a touch of gothic romance. Du Maurier is a master at worldbuilding, and her rich and textured setting really comes alive, from the gorgeous and often spooky landscape (I was terrified of her rhododendrons) to the manor house itself. There are so many great twists in this book I don't want to talk about the plot for fear of spoiling. I experienced this as an audiobook, and I would definitely recommend you do the same, as it's really enhanced by an English-accented narrator.
